Abuse and Neglect
After working as a litigation attorney for most of my career, as a Guardian ad Litem I am able to use my experience handling and evaluating cases to help claimants, attorneys and courts. I enjoy working with families and strive to show compassion and empathy under what often can be very difficult circumstances.
Since 2014, I have had the honor of being appointed in over 150 cases to serve as a Court-Appointed Guardian ad Litem, working as an arm of the court to investigate and report on the reasonableness of proposed settlements of personal injury and wrongful death beneficiary claims of children and incompetent adults. My Guardian ad Litem services also include reviewing proposed structured settlement annuity sales for the Court under the Structured Settlement Protection Act when a minor child's interest may be impacted by such a sale.
My practice also includes service as a Rule 1-017(D) NMRA Guardian ad Litem when a protected person (child or incompetent adult) has a claim or must defend against a claim and there is no other representative available to sue or defend on behalf of the protected person.
I am available to serve as a Guardian ad Litem for children and adults for whom a guardian or conservator is sought to protect their interests, including guardian and conservator actions, kinship guardianships and abuse and neglect cases.
Wrongful Death Act - Plaintiff/Defendant Estate
Do you need an objective third party to serve as the Personal Representative in a wrongful death action where there is a conflict among the beneficiaries or other claimants?
Do you need an attorney to serve as the party representative for a plaintiff-estate or defendant-estate for the limited purpose of prosecuting or defending a claim?
I am proud to extend my professional services to help attorneys when the complexities and conflicts that arise in these situations require a neutral to act on behalf of an estate.

I’ve been practicing Personal Injury Law most of my career. First defending personal injury claims for insurance companies and now working for people who have been injured because of another’s negligence, carelessness or wrongdoing. Although no amount of money alone can make up for the injuries and losses you have suffered, compensation can help pay for the medical bills, lost wages, pain and suffering, and other damages you have experienced because of your injury. I provide free consultations to all injury victims interested in learning more about their legal options. I also work on a contingency fee basis, which means there are no upfront fees and I earn a fee only if I recover compensation on your behalf. There is no risk in contacting me to learn more about how I can help you.
